Commercial and Experimental Small Grains Variety Trial Performance Data
Both commercial and experimental wheat lines are shown the tables below, while only commercial varieties are included in the tables above. A "commercial" variety is defined as one for which seed would be available for purchase under the brand name listed in this trial either in the past or for the following planting season. Lines that have never had commercial seed available, nor will have commercial seed available in the fall for the next planting season, are considered ``experimental'' lines. Thus, lines that have been released as a variety but are not yet available for purchase for commercial production are still considered experimental. Commercial varieties and experimental lines are randomized in the same trial, and thus share the same summary statistics and are directly comparable.
